disciples

A disciple is someone who follows and learns from someone else.

Curiously, there is no spiritual gift of making disciples, even though it is precisely the commission that Christ has given his church.

Romans 12#12:9-21 and following provides a succinct list of the characteristics of a disciple.

Colossians 3#3:12-17 gives a similar list to Romans, describing what a disciple should put on.
